Winner
stays on format where challenging team wagers 2 beers (BYOB - each
person should bring at least 3 beers from their favorite six pack) and
they play one full set to see who stays on. If and when a team holds
their court by beating the challengers they collect the beer prize. A
rule will be in place to ensure competitive matches: a
point advantage will be awarded to a team per the game deficit. So if a
team loses the first game of the set, they begin the next game up 15-0.
And this point system will max out at 40-0 when there is a 3 or more
game difference.

NEW Platform Tennis Quadrant League
Winston-Salem has had great success with their Town Quadrant League. They have been at the maximum 96 players for several years with a waiting list. Attached is a sample of how it works for them. They have both fixed time (every other Sunday) and schedule your own leagues. It's time we do the same. PLEASE participate if you would like to play paddle the next couple of months. EVERYONE, Please reply to Rich Green <richgreen10s@gmail.com> confirming or removing your name from the active list of players. Another option is to not be placed in a quadrant but to make yourself available as a sub.

EVERYONE, Please reply to Rich Green <richgreen10s@gmail.com> confirming or removing your name from the active list of players. Another option is to not be placed in a quadrant but to make yourself available as a sub.
Here's how it can work:
-Players initially placed into a group of 4
(A,B,C,D,E,F,G,....) with A being the highest level.
-Each
group of 4 will schedule on their own to play within the 2 week period
(using league software you can easily select the 3 other players to
send them an email and to reserve a time slot)
-Play 3 sets, 1 with each as partner. Report(enter in league
system) scores
-Player winning the most games moves up a level. Least games
down a level.
-If a person cannot play a substitute may be used. Subs will
start with a 2 game penalty and can move you down but not up.
That's it. Don't worry about the details or
rules. Let's play! All levels can participate. Play well you will
move up quickly. Poor play will move you down.
